- The Steu of Basse Goulaine - Chaland Island commissioned in 1999, is an activated sludge treatment station. Its theoretical capacity is 19400 EH for 1164 kg DBO5/J and 2910 m3/d. Currently one of the two overpectors is aging. In order to make the installation more reliable and optimizeIts energy consumption, the Dopea wishes to renew it and add a 3rd rescue supervision. In addition, valves should be renewed because they are aging. Given this situation, the Dopea wishes to intervene on these works. The treatment plant is located at the levelof the town of Basse Goulaine in the place called Ile-Chaland.
