Title: Translation of patents and validation of EP patents Subject: IFPEN's DPI is in charge of filing, maintaining and defending the industrial property rights of the IFPEN group. Patent applications are filed in France and then extended abroad. In general, the texts of these dempatent documents must be translated from French to English. However, translations of patent applications in French into another language can also be requested (e.g. Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Spanish, Korean). Occasionally, IFPEN may request translations ofa patent text or part of a patent text (e.g. set of claims) in English or another language to be translated (e.g. Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, German, Portuguese) into French or 'English. The texts to be translated relate to areas of research such as suivants: CO2 capture, storage and recovery, plastics recycling, environmental monitoring, life cycle analysis, critical metals and rare earths, biofuels, biogas, biobased chemistry, offshore wind and marine energies, geothermal, hydrogen, energy storage , Electric Mobilityelectrified, connected mobility, mobility with low environmental impact, fuels, petrochemicals, gas treatment, modeling and simulation of basins and reservoirs, enhanced recovery (EOR), risers and production lines.
