Description:
Child protection, defined by article L112-4 of the Code of Social Action for Families, aims to prevent the difficulties that parents may face in the exercise of their educational responsibilities, to support families and to ensure, where necessary, according to modalities adapted to their needs, partial or total care for minors.
The Departmental Council is the leader of the action social and as such plays a central role in child protection missions focused on prevention, reception and protection. He puts in implements a support system for minors, their families, emancipated minors as well as young adults under the age of 21. It offers them social support which can translate into material, educational, psychological support and focused on integration.
