- The purpose of this consultation is to carry out a feasibility study for the realization of a friction bench for the needs of CEA Le Ripault. To study the dynamic friction of its materials, the CEA has long used the friction test "Pantex skid test", characterized by the oblique fall of an explosive coming to impact a ground floor and coated with abrasive paper. For this test, these three physical quantities are intimately linked to the falling height by the pendulum movement of a mass suspended to a cable. In other words, a release height induces a contact pressure, sliding speed and duration. It is not possible to decouple these three quantities. Given the disappearance of this means of testing on its experimental field and the evolution of its needs, the CEA wishes to have a test bench to reproduce this type of solicitation at the laboratory level In order to: - characterize the friction of its compositions on samples of a few grams; - Decoupling the parameters affecting the sensitivity of its materials (pressure to contact, sliding speed and duration of the contact).
