Description:
Today, control of trains in base work is done in the majority of cases visually and is therefore based on the skill and experience of the maneuvering agent. The goal of the project is to improve the robustness of the management of rear bases through a Instrumentation system that would transmit information to the maneuvering agent in real time to ensure redundancy in control. The developed system must be simple, robust, economical and reliable.
Before each maneuver envisaged, the solution developed must make it possible to check:
That The parts of tracks to be traveled are free
That the road devices to be borrowed are properly arranged and that the needles are stuck in the suitable position
That the crossings discussed by the maneuver are released.
The challenges of this project are primarily security: by ensuring Routes released to convoys in BA; Maintaining production and compliance with deadlines guaranteeing the delivery of trains per hour. Indeed any delay in routing has an impact on the deadline and production and therefore on the cost of the site.
Some bases will be Equipped with others will be equipped during the operating phase of the rear base for regeneration work.
