Description:
The Metropolis of Lyon is made up of 58 municipalities and brings together 1.42 million inhabitants (INSEE 2021 data) in a territory of 538.5 km2.
The Metropolis of Lyon is competent in terms of prevention and management of household and similar waste and urban cleanliness.
In order to respect the Objectives set by law n 2020-105 relating to the fight against waste and the circular economy, promulgated on February 10, 2020, and the establishment of waste sorting in public space (sorting out of home) made compulsory in 2025, the Metropolis of Lyon wishes to set up solutions sorting out of household waste, with the aim of enhancing this waste from the nomadic consumption carried out in public space and ensuring the continuity of the sorting gesture outside the home. These solutions are adapted according to the different typologies of public space in the territory: column Aerial (or silo) or car shed depending on the configuration of public space.
A point of sorting out of household includes:
- packaging collection furniture (air column or bins shelter according to the constraints of public space),
- in some cases, a new glass collection point (if the silo has existing glass is too far away),
- exceptionally, collection furniture for OMRs can be installed
Manufacturing and supply of aerial polyethylene columns (PE) for the collection of glass and household and similar waste (all flows), and spare parts
