- The Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA) is launching a call for applications for the supply of a high-voltage coaxial cable for a flash x-ray application. The contract provides for the progress of the stages described below : The provision of a technical description of the cable describing the structure of the cable meeting the requirements of the Specifications with: the constitution of the cable, a sectional view, the definition, the characteristics and dimensions of the different materials... - The supply of a 150m strand of cable without connector conforming to the definition accepted by the CEA - The carrying out of tests of this cable by the CEA to validate the definition - In the event of defects revealed by these tests (breakdown type malfunction on a test following an extrusion or manufacturing process problem, for example), return of the cable for analysis by the Holder and depending on the defect: either revision of the definition of the cable, supply of a new strand of 150m of cable new definition and carrying out new tests or stopping the market if no solution is found. - In the event of a satisfactory definition, the supply of 64 cables with a length of 15m each equipped with 2 connectors at each end and the provision of the cable assembly definition file (cable with a connector at each end).
