- The main characteristics of the project are: the exploitation of the mountain tunnel is entrusted, on the one hand, to the SNCF when the work is used in railway mode, and on the other hand, in the department of Haute-Savoie when the work is used in road mode, punctually in timeswinter, when closing the Col des Montets for Avalancheux Risk. The purpose of contract is to ensure human supervision of equipment and management of traffic in road mode, from the local control station located in Montroc.
