Subscription to an aeronautical civil liability insurance policy to cover the risks induced by the exercise of the industrial activity of maintenance of engines, modules or equipment of military aircraft engines belonging to foreign air forces or entrusted by a company to the industrial workshop of aeronautics of Bordeaux (AIA BX).
The Industrial Workshop of Bordeaux Aeronautics (AIA BX) is a state industrial service responsible for the Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO) of French army aircraft engines. It depends on the Aeronautical Industrial Service (SIAe) which is attached to the General Staff of the Air and Space Force (EMAAE) and the Ministry of the Armed Forces and Veterans.
The strategic positioning of this service leads customers outside the Ministry of the Armed Forces to request its expertise and intervention for the maintenance of military engines.
For this industrial and commercial activity for the benefit of customers external, the AIA of Bordeaux wants to have insurance covering the different aspects of this activity.
The purpose of this procedure is to take out aeronautical civil liability insurance for the MCO activity of military aircraft engines for clients other than the Ministry of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs.
