Description:
The 2022-2027 SDAGE of the Rhone-Mediterranean basin requires, in its provision 5E01: - to identify and characterize the "strategic resources" for the satisfaction of current and future drinking water needs, within a defined number of designated groundwater bodies (ME) or aquifers as high stakes for meeting drinking water needs; - to demarcate the safeguard zones necessary for the preservation of these resources; - to define, in consultation with the stakeholders concerned, the modalities for preserving these resources with priority use for drinking water supply The body of water FRDG139 was recognized by the SDAGE as being of great interest for drinking water supply (AEP). It is therefore appropriate today to identify resources within this body of water to be classified as strategic and to organize their preservation.
