- United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:To draw up a complete mapping and in-depth analysis of the book sector in Africa with a view of publishing a report including strategic recommendations to support the development of this sector. To this end, the project will carry out in-depth documentary research and consolidate existing quantitative and qualitative data; collect quantitative and qualitative data from governments via an online questionnaire; collect additional information and data from other stakeholders; an analysis of the data collected and the drafting of 54 national cartographies (between 3 and 6 pages each); the preparation of a general summary report (approximately 50 pages excluding annexes); participation in a high-level workshop organised by UNESCO with main stakeholders in the African book sector in order to obtain their comments on the preliminary results of the study.Please refer to attached procurement notice.
