- The project is carried out on behalf of the Nuclear Production Division (DPN) and the National Crisis Organization (ONC) of the EDF Group and aims to renew its alert transmission solution which should make it possible to guarantee the mobilization of on-call team members in the event of a crisis. It must be possible to carry out via different Telecom means. To do this, EDF already benefits from a main solution which relies on public operated networks. EDF now has a paging solution. As part of this API, EDF seeks to study the new solutions available on the Alert Transmission Management Market to equip itself with a second means allowing this mobilization. This secondary solution must: •Allow on-call teams to be notified quickly in the event of an emergency. •Be redundant and/or independent of the fixed and mobile telephone network operated in the event of a regional crisis (e.g. loss of the electricity network, climatic hazards) •Arrange high availability (24/7) The solution must be able to cover the 19 Nuclear Power Plants + 1 Parisian site as well as 4 sites under deconstruction, spread across the metropolitan area.
