  • From October 1, 2026 to June 6, 2027, the exhibition "Back to Lugdunum" (title and provisional dates) will question the notion of reconstruction, many forms of which find birth in archeology, heritage and museums. Giving pride of place to the work of Jean-Claude Golvin, Architect and archaeologist who endeavors to carry out restitutions of ancient cities and monuments, and in particular 19 unpublished watercolor views of Lugdunum. The exhibition aims to reveal the multiple facets of an ancient approach, on the border between sciences and arts, interpretation And creation and which is available today in renewed forms (5 senses, digital, etc.). Beyond that, this exhibition will be an opportunity to question the links between these reconstruction images and our contemporary imaginations of antiquity and on the way in which they are taken up and Transformed by contemporary creators
