In 2016, the Green Spaces Department of the City of Bordeaux was shared within Bordeaux Metropole. The evolution of the scope of intervention resulting from thispooling leads to a restructuring of the horticultural production site (Horticultural Center), located in the commune of Haillan, in connection with current ecological issues and the change of scale. An opportunity study was launched and made it possible to establish a Master Plan including Managementof Green Spaces, the Buildings Department and the Territorial Support Department as well as satellite projects (biomass boiler room, recycling area, Bhns, market gardening). The share of the forecast financial envelope allocated to the work by the buyer is set at 25,000,000.00 euro(s) excluding tax(economic conditions: December 2020) for work between 2025 and 2028
