The objective of these works is to act in priority on the most sensitive parts of the building by consolidating the structures in place in order to allow the peril decree and reopen the church to the public.
It is a question here of carrying out the work upstream of phase 1 of the preparatory work, scheduled for spring 2026. These operations consist of:
- Removal of brick dubbing,
- Revision of roofs,
- Purge in search of unstable joinery and removal of water inputs on the bell tower,
- Preventive conservation on the painted decorations of the vaults of the church.
