  • The project relates to the site of the Departmental Childhood Foyer (FDE) located 44 rue Stephanie in Strasbourg, currently with 75 accommodation places for children of early childhood in adolescence, including 35 places in nursery.
    The vast majority of buildings, built in 1975-1976is dilapidated, energy -consuming and suffers from functional problems (distribution of premises, collective sanitary facilities, bursting of poles, flow problems, promiscuity between age groups). In addition, the site is no longer up to the regulatory standards for safety and accessibility, and the arrangementsexternal not allowing optimal operation.
    The operation consists in remedying the numerous dysfunctions identified while aimed at improving the quality of the reception of minors in order to offer them a place of care that meets their needs. New organizationsBuildings will increase the capacity of 16 places in a common situation and develop spaces dedicated to work with families to allow the conditions of home feedback.
    External fittings will allow both better security of minorsEntrusted and will offer spaces adapted to their good development.
