Description:
This project management competition relates to the rehabilitation of the Albert Camus cultural space in the town of Valette du Var, located on a plot with a capacity of 60,448m2 located on rue Louis Jouvet in the town of La Valette du Var.

The Albert Camus Center was built in theExecutive of the larger development project called COUPIANE 1 comprising 900 dwellings. The initial construction dates from 1964, carried out by the Agency Dravet, Borde, Fries. The Albert Camus Center is labeled "Remarkable Contemporary Architecture (ACR)" formerly entitled "XXth Heritage".
Located in the COUPIANE district, this set included on the surface a swimming pool, a snack and a drugstore and in the basement, a club (the private) and two cinemas. The complex also hosted a restaurant called the president.
He was bought by the city in 1979. He began withWelcoming various cultural and associative events, before becoming from 1985, the Albert Camus cultural space.
The Albert Camus space therefore includes today:
-- Two levels of parking in the basement with a capacity of around 100-110 spaces,
-- A media library of 1000m2 with aSmall auditorium of 50 places,
- - A theater with 138 seats,
- - a cinema with 126 places,
- - an old disused disco, the tomato, about 600m2
