Description:
Since the start-up of the Biostyr(r) PDN battery in 2009, the MAV site has observed a total loss of 33% in the volume of biomedia (4.5 mm Biostyrene). A reduction in the level of Biostyrene is accompanied by a drop in the overall performance of the denitrification unit. maximums of the order of 75% to 77% in Ngl, whatever the dosage of exogenous carbon (methanol). in nitrite are on average 4.9 mg/L in 2023. The DRIEAT SPE asks the SIAAP to carry out actions so as to initiate a reduction in these concentrations at the factory outlet for both nitrates and nitrites.
