Description:
Law 2004-809 of August 13, 2004 gives authority to the Regions to define and implement the regional vocational training policy for young people and adults looking for work. This competence was reaffirmed by the law of March 5, 2014 which extended its scope of application to people under the influence of justice, to French people living abroad, to the base of professional knowledge and skills and to the coordination of the Regional Public Orientation Service. In order to respond to this skill, the Grand Est Region has chosen to build its training offer from a cross-fertilization between employment and skills needs identified within the framework of consultations carried out with professional branches and the State, and diagnostics, carried out on the territory of the Maisons de la Region and with local stakeholders, in order to identify locally, as well as on a national scale.
