- The Syndicate of Studies and Elimination of Roannais waste (S.E.E.D.R.) is competent in terms of sorting, treatment and recovery of household waste (packaging, newspapers, glass, green waste, special household waste, etc.). It currently brings together 4 communities of communes and a community of agglomeration, which represents, on January 1, 2025, a total population of 150,403 inhabitants. Since November 1, 2021, all DMRs (household and bulky garbage) has been sent to the ISDND of Gaia-Route de la Bruyere in Cusset (03300) in accordance with a delegation contract Public service in the form of a concession and carried out within the framework of a group of conceding authorities concluded between Vichy Community and the S.E.E.D.R. The latter will end on October 31, 2027. In addition, the S.E.E.D.R. has the project the implementation of a multi-filter treatment installation, Named Seedranova on the ZAC de Bonvert in Mubly. This has been the subject of a concession contract for its design, construction and its operation for a period of 18 years. Seedranova will receive OMR, bulky items and non -dangerous wood collected in the territory of S.E.E.D.R in order to extract the still valuable part of the gray trash and will produce CSR.
