Title: Qualitative and quantitative study on technical solutions for circumventing measures to protect dematerialized content
Subject: The purpose of this contract is to carry out a qualitative and quantitative study on the use by Internet users of technical solutionscircumvention of protection measures for dematerialized content. It aims to quantify the share of Internet users who use alternative DNS (Domain Name System, or domain name system) and VPN (Virtual Private Network or virtual private network), in general and in order to accessto illicit dematerialized content, to identify and prioritize the motivations for use and the perception of these practices (in particular in terms of legality), and finally to estimate the budget that Internet users devote to it in the case of recourse to paid solutions of VPN.
