- This consultation is organized within the framework of the provisions of the public procurement code as well as articles L.1411-1 et seq. and R.1411-1 of the General Code of Local Authorities. Candidates are therefore alerted to the fact that they must submit their application and their offer at the same time. The purpose of the public service delegation will be to entrust by leasing the operation, upkeep and maintenance of the airport, its land, structures, buildings, infrastructure, equipment, networks and services as well as the management and development of the airport public domain. Avignon-Provence airport, owned by the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur Region since 2007, combines several assets for the benefit of the Vaucluse region and regional: an airport platform focused on business and leisure aviation which also operates essential civil security and emergency medical transport missions; a public airport domain welcoming more than 50 companies and 500 jobs. In order to consolidate these assets, the delegatee will have to develop and promote the airport following a strategy focused on business aviation and the continuation of the dynamic of economic development on the land of the platform by targeting activities with high added value and job creation.
