Description:
Pre-information for the award, after competition, of a public service contract for the operation of travelers' rail transport services in the New Aquitaine region, for the Southern Lot. Subject to the decision of the deliberative assembly on the management method, The operators are informed that the regional railway transportation service contract will be awarded after competition, in accordance with the texts in force on the date of the procedure. The passing procedure will relate to travelers' rail transport services from the southern whole.
At this stage, it is planned that the public rail transportation service contract relates to the following lines:
• Bordeaux - Hendaye - Irun
• Bordeaux - Pau - Tarbes
• Hendaye - Bayonne - Pau -tarbes
• Bayonne-Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port
• Pau - Oloron -Ste -Marie - Bedous.
In 2019, the offer made amounted to 2.3 million trains-kilometers and the attendance of these lines was 178 million travelers-kilometers. Attendance is increasing sharply and has reached 302 million travelers-kilometers in 2024. All of these lines correspond to an offer Theoretical of 3.1 million train-kilometers (annual service 2024), and potentially up to 6.2 million train-kilometers on the horizon of the operation of these lines as part of the public service contract referred to in this opinion.
