- The purpose of this procedure is to entrust to a public service concessionaire the material execution of the impoundment decision prescribed either by a judicial police officer, or by an assistant judicial police officer, chief of the municipal police or holding these functions,Territory competent, namely operations: mainly - vehicle removal, - vehicle transport, - vehicle security, - vehicle classification, by an approved expert, - vehicle restitution, - vehicle delivery to the domains,- vehicle delivery to a company responsible for their destruction. These operations are carried out within the framework of articles L325-1 to L325-13 and R325-12 to R325-52 of the Highway Code and are exercised exclusively on the territory of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg. As an accessory, while respectingFrom the regulations in force, the execution of any other vehicle removal service (for example destruction of vehicles at the initiative of their owner, trips, judicial requisition, etc.) provided that it does not harm the proper functioning of the pound.
