Description:
Team 2 (INSERM U1149) is led by Dr. Nicolas CHARLES. His research activity is focused on the role of basophils and mast cells in renal and/or autoimmune immunopathologies. The project requiring services particularly concerning the role of granulocytes in the amplification of autoimmune autoantibody diseases. The experimental models to be carried out to carry out this original project include genetically modified mice (spontaneous disease models autoimmune diseases, models deficient for certain granulocytes, etc.) which can be treated with innovative immunotherapies while respecting all regulations in force concerning animal experimentation. Furthermore, ex vivo studies in co-culture (lymphocytes/granulocytes, etc.) are carried out to support the hypotheses and dissect the mechanisms involved. Different experimental biology techniques (mouse genotyping, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, western blot, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence on tissue sections, isolation and culture of primary cells, flow cytometry, ex vivo stimulations, etc.) will be required to carry out the required services.
