The Center des Exhibitions du Mans (CEM) was created in 1969. It represents an asset ofeconomic development for a multitude of territorial players. It is also a "benchmark" space for the inhabitants of the department.
In the immediate vicinity of the 24 -hour circuit, the gateway to the territory for very diverse audiences, coming from the whole national territory, theSite is a major asset in the quest for attractiveness and notoriety carried by the community.
Le Mans Metropole plans the restructuring-extension of the Le Mans Exhibition Center (CEM) to meet 4 objectives:
- Rethink the whole site both on its spatial organization and on theDiversification of the offer
- Develop the reception of events organized by third parties and in particular professional fairs
- offer a new visual identity linked to architectural and landscaping treatments
- Exemplarity in terms of sustainable development, sobriety andRespect for the environment
This project, estimated at 33 M Euro (s) HT of work, relates on:
