Description:
Inaugurated in 1989, the Blagnac skating rink, which includes a 1,800 m2 sports ice track (60 m x 30 m) and 1,200 seats in stands, welcomes various public (general, sports, school) and constitutes sports and leisure equipment structuring within the city and radiating on the scale of the Toulouse metropolis. Ancient design, the building today shows signs of obsolescence and suffers from dysfunctions in terms of organization of premises harming the quality of use of the equipment. Also, faced with the challenges and evolution of environmental regulations, an improvement in the energy performance of the equipment appears necessary. The renovation/extension project of the skating rink thus provides for reorganization works but also of extension of premises with a view to improving the conditions of reception of the various audiences. In addition to the reconfiguration work, the project also provides for a resumption of the coverage complex and an adaptation of the frame for the possibility of setting up solar installations on the roof.
