The southern urban route, inscribed in the urban travel plan established by the Nimes Metropole agglomeration community, constitutes a privileged axis of inter -districts between the Active Ville district and the Beaucaire route.
This new infrastructure, of whichA part is already made, will allow during its closure to relieve the allende boulevard of the flow specific to the service of the southern districts of the city, and will allow a mesh of these neighborhoods by cycle lanes.
This is an east - west bonding axis parallel to the southern peripheral boulevardde Nimes (boulevard Salvator Allende) between the latter and the A9 motorway.
The portion already made connects the "Active City" commercial area to the ZAC Georges Besse II (Chemin de la Tour de l'Eveque), before joining Boulevard Allende.
The extension of the East SUV, on aTotal linear of 2,625 m, will allow the connection to the Beaucaire route. It requires, among other things, the construction of a work of crossing the Vistre de la Fontaine.
The sections remaining to be made will allow the connection between the active city sector and ultimately the route de Beaucaire, inKnowing:
- The work of the art of the Vistre-Fontaine;
- The section n 1 extends from the Chemin de la Tour de l'Eveque to the avenue Pierre Mendes-France (RD 6113 Route d'Arles);
