- The contract is a contract for carrying out preventive archaeological excavations, as defined by articles R 523-39 et seq. of the Heritage Code. This consultation concerns the carrying out of preventive archaeological excavations for the construction of works on the Bugey site, for 2 phases (phase 1 and phase 2) or 2 lots. These 2 zones are located on plots that are very close geographically. Lot Phase 1 - Contract for carrying out preventive archaeological excavations on the Bugey site The contract is a contract for carrying out preventive archaeological excavations, such as as defined by articles R 523-39 et seq. of the Heritage Code. This consultation concerns the carrying out of preventive archaeological excavations for the construction of works in the municipalities of SAINT-VULBAS and LOYETTES, over an area of approximately 58,000m2. These phase excavations 1 were prescribed by prefectural decree no. 2026-143 of 02/11/26. The minimum prescribed duration of excavations is 120 working days, excluding December, January and February. The start of phase 1 excavation operations is theoretically scheduled for early September 2026.
