- Aéroports de la Cote d-Azur holds a public service delegation from Nice Côte d-Azur and Cannes Mandelieu airports. The end of the airport concession contract is set for 12/31/2044. ACA wants to set up power plants photovoltaic systems on the airport platforms of Nice and Cannes with the aim of decarbonizing its electricity supply. A feasibility study was carried out in order to specify the possible production capacities by taking into account the structural capacities of the existing silo roofs and car parks, the technical solutions for connection to the closed private networks of the two airports and their self-consumption capacities. The projects concerned by this consultation are: - For the Nice site has photovoltaic production of just over 3 MWC deployed on the roof and in shade over silo car parks and a ground car park. Production will be entirely valued for individual self-consumption with Third Party Investment and maintenance services. - For the Cannes site, photovoltaic production in shade houses of around 400 kWp. Production will be valued for individual self-consumption with sale of the surplus with Third Party Investment and maintenance services. In its status as self-producer Aéroports de la Côte d-Azur will be the legal operator of the power plants.
