  • The AFSB project (Railway Developments in the South of Bordeaux) is part of the arrival of the GPSO (LGV Bordeaux-Toulouseof the AFSB project (line 640,000) will lead to an overhaul of the 1.5kV catenaries south of Bordeaux over approximately 14 km in order to:
    -Accommodate future connections for new high-speed line projects (GPSO);
    -Adapt infrastructure to allow the development of regional traffic (TER, Metropolitan REREyrans (V1F), and a 4th siding at the stations (VE). The catenaries of the existing tracks will be completely overhauled and the 6 existing level crossings will be removed.
    Four stations are concerned by the project and these stops will be completely overhauled:
    -Begles;
    -Villenave d'Ornon;
    -Cadaujac;
    -St-Medard d'Eyrans.
    The TGVs departing from Bordeaux to the south will use 14km of line fitted out on the existing platform. The future GPSO connection will be located after the St-Medard d'Eyrans station at the end of the AFSB project. The implementation phase will begin at the end of 2023 to...
