- The Fourviere archaeological park is a property of the city of Lyon managed by the Department of the Rhone since 01/28/1991 and then by the Metropolis of Lyon since January 1, 2015. The Roman theater is classified as historic monuments, the construction is supposed to be around 15 BC The sequel to excavations on the site and clearance, the pictorial sets of the northern corridor of access to the Orchestra, were consolidated from 1943 and an awning was installed, disassembled for security reasons because the site is very frequented by the public. A health diagnosis has highlighted the importance to cover the plaster to protect them. This heritage diagnosis carried out in 2023-2024 made in particular solutions validated by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs making it possible to guarantee the long-term conservation of the parietal sets of the Aditus.
