• Description:
• Morpho-ecological restoration work on the Sanzy stream in Oullins-Pierre-Bénite and Saint-Genis-Laval. The development principles covered by this work are as follows: - Remove old structures built in the bed of the watercourse (riprap, concrete cunette, stone cunette, walls, etc.) - Restore a longitudinal profile close to the original slope of the valley by raising the incised lines then remodeling the bottom of the bed and the banks; - Master the balance of the profile along its length the river by installing wooden elements (from forestry work, off-market) promoting energy loss and slowing down flows; - Ensure the return to the bottom of the valley of the stream and re-establish the connection with the section piped at the downstream end by reprofiling in cutting and installation of a new funneling device. - Reuse recoverable materials from the dismantled stone cunette to restore the crossing of the watercourse using Japanese steps. - Vegetate the work rights-of-way by sowing and planting suitable native plants;
