Description:
The Mobility Department wishes to call on a project management for studies and works concerning the project to requalify boulevards Stell-Solferino-Richelieu in Rueil-Malmaison.
The project consists in reclassifying the RD 39, to meet the following objectives:
- To welcome all the soft trip modes by creating a continuity of circulation along the axis;
- Facilitate the link between the hillsides and the city center;
- Carry out qualitative axis arrangements;
- Secure the crossing of pedestrians, bikes and vehicles;
- Increase readability occupation of public space;
Overall, the project is to develop:
- Three urban boulevards with a line of traffic by meaning;
- two crossroads for better crossing;
- pedestrian crossings with refuge islets;
- comfortable sidewalks completed with a unidirectional cycle path;
- longitudinal parking on both sides of the road;
- The insertion of approach corridors reserved for buses.
More specifically, a counter-alley will be created on the city center side on boulevard Solferino with landscaping to the square Richelieu.
