- The purpose of this framework agreement is: (i) the performance of level 4 maintenance services (preventive and corrective) and (ii) the performance of level 4 and level 5 maintenance engineering services (excluding mid-life operations) on the railway rolling stock which will be entrusted to SPL SPIIT by the shareholder Regions. The equipment falling within the scope of the ownership of SPIIT will be made available to future Railway Operators as and when allocated by the Regions of public service operating contracts. To date, SPL SPIIT has as shareholders the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and the Occitanie Region, the entry of the Center Val de Loire Region into the capital of SPIIT is in progress as of the publication of the this framework agreement. SPIIT could, in the future, and during the execution of this framework agreement, be entrusted with the railway rolling stock of other Regions, if necessary, for the same objectives.
