• Tenders are invited for Legal Consultation to Support Digital Africa's Fuzé Program Digital Africa's mission is to strengthen the capacity of African entrepreneurs to design and deploy digital innovations at scale to serve the real economy. Acting as a catalyst, Digital Africa brings together a group of partners of all nationalities - startups, researchers, incubators, institutional financiers, venture capitalists, tech clusters - committed to African digital entrepreneurs, at the forefront of which is Proparco, as a sole shareholder. Our approach is based on a clear diagnosis of the needs of entrepreneurs, directly from the field, to develop a set of programs around three main axes: ● Strengthening the skills of digital start-ups on the continent, by training teams such as access to local talent trained in start-up professions ● Easier access to financing adapted to start-up through the implementation of agile financing mechanisms such as the animation of investor communities ● The support of 'made in Africa' innovation policies favorable to innovative digital entrepreneurs in Africa. Digital Africa has also developed a “resilient Digital Africa” media to provide visibility to new tech leaders and doers on the continent. It also functions as a data organization centrics, placing data access and use at the heart of its model. In this context, Digital Africa launched, in September 2022, a financing mechanism for “small tickets” to support start-ups in French-speaking Africa in their seed phase. Fuzé is a 6.5M€ fund that provides funding tickets to startups at the ideation and MVP stage. It aims to solve the lack of funding in Francophone Africa and to democratize access to funding for the ideation phase. Fuzé is today a unique model on the continent. Fuzé is fully owned and operated by Digital Africa, a French law company based in France. Digital Africa is a subsidiary of Proparco, in the form of SASU.
