Arte Geie has been recorded since 2015 as an internet operator with the RIPE and must therefore rely on at least two different transit operators to ensure the operation of its internet access.
This duality of operators also has the advantage of allowing Arte GeieEnsure a security redundancy and optimization of links.
Internet access from Arte Geie allows in particular:
-The broadcast to a content delivery network (CDN) and the main French Internet access providers, Germans and Europeans in general,
-The contribution in programsArte partners in Europe,
-L 'Classic use of a company of a company
These features are strategic because they join the main mission of Arte and are part of its core business.
In this context, Arte Geie launches a procedure in order to renew the provision servicestransit ip.
The operator must be able to provide the service from the premises of Arte Geie to Strasbourg (FR) and from the premises of Arte Geie in Kehl (de).
In addition, the operator must have the capacity to provide a protection function against massive attacks (DDOS).
Liaisoninter-site arte is not the object of this procedure.
