Description:
Tenders are invited for Consultancy services for Oxfam West Africa regional platform (WAF). This includes: 1) Providing strategic advice in the structuration and implementation of the project; 2) Setting up and animating an internal Steering Committee (country teams, regional platform and key affiliates) ; 3) Consult with country teams and elaborate a process where country teams/ the WAF regional platform can articulate their analysis and unique role they can play (or value added) in strengthening and protecting civic space; 4) Identifying key external partners active on civic space, good governance in the countries/region and support country/regional teams in structuring engagement with them; 5) Support the Steering Committee to develop a strategic framework for work on civic space/governance in the Sahel through a participatory process, connecting to the Sahel Strategy and WAF Influencing Strategy; 6) Agree on strategic and practical actions deriving from the framework - starting by reviewing and updating any existing workplan; 7) Finalizing ToR for research on governance & civic space in the Sahel and liaising with consultants/country teams conducting research.
