- The service consists of carrying out electrical measurements and a visual inspection on the stator and rotor of synchronous alternators with power greater than 6 MVA and voltage greater than 5 kV.
The electrical measurements consist of:
* on the stator: insulation measurements, dielectric testsat high DC voltage, measurements of dielectric losses, measurements of partial discharges.
*on the rotor: insulation measurements, measurements of equal distribution of voltages between poles, check of the contact resistances of the interpolar resistance
The visual inspection consists of:
* stator: checkcheck the state of pollution of the stator, the migration of shims, degradation of the varnish, ...
* rotor: check the pollution, creep between turns, ...
