Description:
The work, objects of this consultation, relates to the development of the Jacques Chirac park and the re -qualification work on the boulevard d'Allende, in Nimes (30). The land that extends over about 11 hectares is on the site of the old Pichon nurseries. Part northern, it runs along the framework From the Vistre de la Fontaine and, partly southern, the Recalibrated River in the open. It is established on both sides of Boulevard Allende and the work includes its requalification to allow a pedestrian and cycling passage under the track. The development of the park aims to keep its identity and to preserve existing dense vegetation and biodiversity as much as possible. The development project includes the connection with Boulevard Natoire north, close to Nimes station, with the creation of an entry forecourt in the park and the creation of a major axis which crosses the Total site (VIA) to connect in part south to the track that borders the visitor. It also incorporates the transformation of an old pumping station into playgrounds and sanitary facilities, the implementation of sports activities and picnic areas, conservation and development of old Serres, the work of a section of Boulevard Allende and the realization of two cycle paths as well as the enhancement of a small pumping station which testifies to the horticultural past.
