Description:
_The main objectives of the modernization operation are:
Replace equipment at the end of its life;
Increase the transport capacity of the line;
Improve the comfort and safety of line users
_The general program includes 3 main components:
a) The deployment of a new train movement control/command system;
b) Renewal of rolling stock;
c) Adaptations of the various infrastructures and installations
_The estimated budget for the operation under the responsibility of the general MOE is 189 M euro(s) excluding tax (value September 2025). This budget includes all costs of studies, safety qualification, supplies and work for all components of the operation.
_This contract is, within the meaning of Directive 2014/25 EU, a framework agreement.
This is a so-called composite framework agreement concluded with an economic operator. It has 2 distinct parts:
A part called ordinary market,
A part mixed framework agreement executed partly by the issuance of purchase orders and partly by the conclusion of subsequent contracts, within the meaning of articles R2162-1 to 6 and 13 to 14 of the Code of public procurement.
