- United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:As per UNESCO-s guidelines for Special Accounts, and the MDP Programme Strategy, an external evaluation should be conducted every four years to provide a full analysis of the overall implementation and impact achieved. The last evaluation of the MDP covered the years 2018 to 2021.The last evaluation (covering 2018-2021) of the MDP found that “because of the levels of flexibility, responsiveness, agility and adaptability when faced with new and emerging challenges that are ‘built in- to it, the MDP has been able to remain highly relevant over time” and showed a “high degree of internal coherence with other UNESCO projects and programmes”, having made “significant progress” towards its Outcomes.However, the evaluation also recommended that UNESCO should consider “including more information on how countries have been selected, how much has been allocated per country”, “increased mainstreaming of gender equality in all activities and outputs” and should “explore ways to better articulate the differences between the MDP, IPDC and GMDF to donors and...
