- Rehabilitation of the internal coatings of the Water Boxes (BAE), the flanges and elbows of the condensers of the CNPE of CATTENOM according to the schedule of shutdowns such as Partial Inspection (VP) and Ten-year Inspection (VD) and following the preliminary assessments.
Carrying out the coating expertise of BAE and elbows inShutdown for Simple Reloading (ASR), VP and VD.
Replacement of the Epoxy coating with a Neoprene coating.
Water Box coating:
•Neoprene or Butylneoprene type elastomer
•Thickness: at least 4mm
•Criterion: 0 blistering
Elbow:
•Neoprene or Butylneoprene type elastomer
•Thickness:minimum 4mm for elastomers
•Criterion: 0 blistering
At the end of the work, the coatings of the water boxes, flanges and elbows must no longer present defects and ensure their role of anti-corrosion protection and sealing.
