- Description:
- Located in French Guiana at the CSG (Guiana Space Center), the ELM launch base is supposed to accommodate several launch bases for micro/mini-launchers and demonstrators. These users, the launch operators are supposed to use as much as possible the Common Means ofthe ELM launch base.
The Common Fluid Resources must store and supply the fluids for the various launch operators. Medium fluid common systems include:
-Liquid propellant storage with associated lines and equipment for liquid oxygen, nitrogen lifluid and liquid methane.
-Cryogenic lines and equipment for the storage area.
-Vacuum jacketed line for the common distribution of cryogenic fluids to an intermediate point.
-A network of GN2 nitrogen at 200barg .
