This intellectual services market is to carry out a study Directorate of collective sanitation in the territory bringing together 29 municipalities of the "Port-Douvot" system. The treatment plant is located on the site of"Port-Douvot" of the commune of Besancon (25,000), and treats the effluents of all the municipalities (Arguel (commune of Fontain), Avanne-Aveney, Beure, Besancon, Boussieres, Chaleze, Chalezeule, Chatillon-le-Duc, Chemaudin and Vaux (Part Chemaudin), Deluz, Ecole-Valentin,Lissey, La Veze, Miserey-Salines, Montferrand-le-Chateau, Montfaucon, Morre, Novillars, Pirey, Rancenay, Roche-lez-Beaupre, Roulans, Serre-les-Sapins, Tallenay, Thise, Thoraise, Vaire). The municipalities concerned are located in the urban community of Grand Besancon Metropole (GBM later),Community competent in terms of collection, transport and depollution of wastewater.
