The purpose of this contract is to recruit a representative architect (with a team multidisciplinary) to be able to ensure the restoration of the painted decorations, immovable objects by nature and destination and wooden movable objects of the Church of the Madeleine, located in Aix-en-Provence.
Context of the planned restoration:
The Church of the Madeleine is classified as a monument history in 1988.
This church is one of the largest and most emblematic churches in the City, overlooking one of its main squares, Place des Precheurs.
Following serious structural problems affecting the stability of the building, the church has been closed since 2006. A series of Large-scale work campaigns were launched accordingly (strengthening of the structure in 2008, restoration work from 2012).
A complete restoration was planned, which includes several components, including the restoration of the building, movable and immovable objects, painted decorations and the large grandstand organ.
The Church is now completely consolidated, the City is now launching the 4th work campaign restoration work mainly on the eastern part of the church and the interiors. This operation is sequenced in 3 phases, one first phase ...
