Description:
In 2022 the University of Limoges inaugurated the university part of the Center for Biology and Research and Health to name it CBRS François DENIS. The Center, which combines care and research, hosts hospital biology laboratories and research. Several research units from the Omega Health Institute will join the center during the extension of the building. The first stone of the extension project was laid in the fall of 2025. Acceptance of the site is planned for the start of the school year university 2027. SPECIFICITY OF THE PROGRAM The Omega Health building is located on the site of the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy of Limoges. The building aims to bring together research work around the theme of One Health - One health (human, animal and plant). This project is part of the dynamic of creating a public veterinary school in Limoges, through the development of a 6th year of studies. Backed by the Center for Biology and Health Research, the future building will make it possible to create a real unity of place, promoting interdisciplinary exchanges, the pooling of equipment and the strengthening of collaborations with the University Hospital, the faculties and perhaps the future veterinary school.
