Creation of a contemporary African art museum in the Saint-Roch chapel
The objective is to create in the chapel a museum of contemporary art, intended for a future label Museum of France, which will be structured around:
a"Permanent exhibition" course that can be renewed: around 160 works on display, which allows us to consider renewal with regard to the background to tear at the museum over several years. The donation includes various format works (fresco -type monumental tables, installations, format1/2 A4, photographs, etc.). Due to this plurality, the renewal of the permanent exhibition will require fluidity and flexibility of spaces and around.
Of a "temporary exhibition" course: centered on Focus from the collection and allowing to invite artists (ex: African artistsContemporary, confront African art vs American art at the opening, etc.): 1st in France and in Europe.
The museum will also include a multimodal space (conference, eacs, projection, etc.) and rooms and structures suitable for manipulation and storage of works.
To carry out thisproject, technical and programming studies have been carried out. The objective is to resort to a global performance market associating maintenance with the design-production of services in order to fulfill encrypted performance objectives which are in particular:
