Description:
Today, the City of Hendaye has, on its territory, a covered sunflower-type municipal swimming pool, which was built at the end of the 1970s.
However, this equipment is aging and no longer meets current standards. (accessibility, sound and thermal insulation, hydraulic)and presents disorders in its infrastructure and its functional organization.
The City of Hendaye, after an opportunity and pre-programming study, finally made the choice of a new construction on the same site as the current equipment, after demolition of the latter.
The project involveson support for learning to swim in a seaside resort, where the priority is the safety of all audiences in practices related to the ocean:
- 25 m 6-lane sports pool,
- Swimming pool learning and activities of 125m2,
Added to this is a mineral solariumand plants in the heart of the block.
The total estimated cost of the work is set at 7,466,250 excluding tax (for the 18 lots on the site).
