Description:
The existing Nice-Est Urban Heat network is powered by waste heat from the Waste Incineration Unit of the city of Nice and currently supplies heating and domestic hot water to around a hundred subscribers of all types (housing, cultural, clinical, university hospital, offices, teaching, ...).
The network is made up of 3 sub-units:
- 1 hot water network called "Reseau Ariane" which provides hot water to the entire Ariane and Liserons district (the steam-hot water substation is directly positioned in the 'Factory)
- 1 steam network called "Steam Network" which serveshealth type subscribers and supplies a main hot water steam substation called "Nice-Est substation"
- 1 hot water network called "Nice-Est Network" which serves the entire district of Pasteur, Turin and Roquebilliere with hot water from the Nice Est substation

As part of the new conceptssion, DALKIA must carry out modernization, renovation and extension work on the network and existing substations.
This present consultation falls within the framework of network extension which mainly concerns the construction work of a new steam exchange substationr/hot water between the primary network and the future heat export network.
